About Alaska Scenes

Alaska Scenes is a collection of photos by an Alaskan, about Alaskans, for people interested in Alaska. This site can assist you in preparing for an Alaska visit.

This version of Alaska Scenes has been under development since late 1999 but Alaska Scenes was initially created in 1995 and an earlier version still exists. The earlier version of the site limited itself to Southcentral Alaska while the new Alaska Scenes explores the whole state.

You may want to visit the original Alaska Scenes after visiting this site.

Visitors to Alaska Scenes are encouraged to submit questions related to their Alaska interests. Questions will be answered individually by e-mail; the answers may also be incorporated in the Alaska Scenes site to make it more informative to other visitors.

Alaska Scenes does accept advertising. Inquiries about advertising rates and policies may be addressed to advertising@alaskascenes.com.

All photos and text were created for the Alaska Scenes Web site, remain its property and cannot be placed on other Web sites or put to other commercial uses without its permission. (Copying photos to use in school reports is fine.) Alaska Scenes has been selected as a featured site in Lightspan's StudyWeb® "as one of the best educational resources on the Web."
